Speakers Bio's:

Leslie Rosenblood

He is the treasurer and secular chair for the Centre for Inquiry Canada, a national educational charity promoting reason, science, and secular values. He is also a founding member of, and policy advisor for, the Canadian Secular Alliance, a non-profit, public policy research and advocacy organization advancing church-state separation and the neutrality of government in matters of religion. He lives in Toronto with his four children.

Celine Sanchez,

She is originally from Mexico and became Canadian Citizen in Victoria, B.C. she came to Calgary, 8 years ago to work as a Flight Attendant with two major airline carriers. ( her fav job) she also works as an international Tour Director, leading Tours, across Canada and The USA. She proudly identifies as an Atheist Humanist, and very passionate about equal rights for believers and nonbelievers, She is an activist for the separation of church and state, human rights including the nonbelievers, and for reason instead of ideology. She is delighted to be a part of the Secular Humanist of Calgary. She wants to keeps fighting against religious privilege and politicians who use their religious faith to oppress the rights of others. 

John Fitzpatrick 

He is originally from the UK (Cardiff, Wales) and currently living in Calgary, Alberta.  He was raised by a single mother with two sisters in the Mormon church.  As he entered adulthood, attendance at church and interest in church activities waned as he began to seriously question the doctrine of the Mormon church.  This led to a transition from a believer, to agnostic to atheist.

He completed my elementary school education in the UK and completed his junior high and high school education in Canmore, Alberta.  Attended the University of Calgary where He obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.  He has lived and worked in the UK, BC, the Okanagan, and Alberta, Canmore and Calgary.  He is currently employed as a Software Engineer working on software quality and security tools.
